Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer at WorkSaar, you will own features end-to-end across our modern stack (React 19 / Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL). You'll write clean, tested, and maintainable code, integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, WhatsApp Meta APIs, CRM hooks), and ensure lightning-fast UI rendering. We value engineers with strong problem-solving skills, curiosity for clean code architecture, and a drive to ship production-grade software.

Machine Coding / Take-Home Task

Technical Round 1 (Deep Dive & Live Pairing)

Technical Round 2 (System & Architecture Discussion)

HR, CTC Discussion & Offer Letter

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Build modular, secure backend RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL/Prisma.
- Design relational database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and implement indexing and caching with Redis.
- Integrate third-party services including payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe), authentication (OAuth, JWT), and cloud services.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and zero-regression deployments.
- Participate in agile sprints, daily standups, code reviews, and pair-programming sessions with engineering leads.
Technical Requirements (Core Skills)
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience building production web apps with React.js / Next.js and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals (closures, async/await, event loop, prototype inheritance).
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM.
- Solid grasp of REST API architecture, HTTP status codes, security best practices (CORS, CSRF, rate limiting).
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub version control, branch management, and pull request workflows.
- Familiarity with containerization basics (Docker) and deploying applications to Linux / AWS / Vercel.
Good to Have (Preferred)
- Experience with Next.js App Router, Server Components, and Server Actions.
- Familiarity with Redis caching, BullMQ message queues, or WebSockets.
- Contributions to open-source software or personal developer projects on GitHub.
